IKEA: half price food on Fridays
If you’re an IKEA Family member then you get half price food on Fridays with “Swe-dish Friday”.
That can get you their classic meatballs for £2.45, fish and chips for £3.45 and kid’s pasta for 45p.
There’s no published end date for this offer. It excludes IKEA Hammersmith and order and collection points.
IKEA Family is a free loyalty scheme offered by IKEA that can get you discounts and free hot drinks on weekdays.
Tastecard: 2-4-1 or 50% off
You can save 50% with Tastecard at hundreds of restaurants. We’ve got a post which we regularly update with the latest Tastecard offers, often including one month free or a four-month trial for £1.
Well worth giving it a go and seeing if you think you’ll use it regularly. There’s also Gourmet Society which does a similar thing.
Meerkat Meals: 2-4-1 for £1
You can sign up to Meerkat Meals and get 2-4-1 meals Sunday to Thursday. You need to buy a qualifying insurance product from Compare the Market for access, but this trick gets you a year’s membership for £1. You’ll also get 2-4-1 cinema tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Burger King: Free cheeseburger or chips
The new Burger King loyalty app earns you points when you spend that can be redeemed for items on the menu. When you sign up you get 200 free points, which can be exchanged for a free cheeseburger or fries. Download on Google Play here or App Store here.

McDonalds: Free burger via app
Download the McDonalds app and you can often get discounts on food and drink from the fast food chain.
And sign up to the new reward scheme and you’ll get 1,000 points, worth £1, and free fries with your first order.
MeatLiquor: 50% off food & drink
At certain points in the year, top burger joint MeatLiquor emails members of its list 50% off vouchers. These tend to happen on bank holidays and your birthday – so sign up now!
Leon: 30% off
Sign up to the Leon Lovers Club and you’ll get a voucher for a 30% off your next order. You used to also get a treat on your birthday.

Franco Manca: £7.50 pizzas
Franco Manca is giving away pizzas for just £7.50 in January 2024. You just have to fill in this form and you can get a pizza from the main menu or specials board for £7.50. This includes up to 4 pizzas on your table.
You need to fill out the form with the same details that you have signed up for the Franco Manca app with – if you don’t have the app, you can sign up after filling out the form, just use the same email address and date of birth.
This is running until 31st January 2024.
Pizza Express: 50% off when you buy a pizza in store
Pizza Express is offering 50% off at its restaurants from 8 January 2024 to 8 February 2024 if you purchase a pizza at a supermarket between 15 December 2023 and 7 February 2023 and scan the QR code found on the pizza.
You have to have signed up for the Pizza Express Club app, which is where you’ll find your voucher once you’ve signed up. You’ll only be able to use the voucher from Monday through to Sunday and you’ll just have to give the voucher to your waiter.
Nando’s: Free quarter chicken or starter (expired)
Nando’s is offering school and college students a free quarter chicken or starter for results on 17 August 2023 (for A-levels) and again on 24 August 2023 (for GCSEs).
You’ll need to spend £7 or more on your meal and will need to show your student ID card and results at the till.

Thursday 24 August 2023 is “national burger day” and it’s worth checking to see if your fave restaurant is taking part with special burgers or discounts.
