American Express: triple points
Amex Gold or Platinum cardholders who add their first supplementary card will increase the amount of Amex Reward Points added to their account. For the Preferred Rewards card, this is tripled from 3,000 points to 9,000. This offer ends soon, on 31 October 2025.
Will Aid: bookings open for free will appointments
Each November, as part of Will Aid, you can get a “free” appointment with participating solicitors to draw up a will. In return you’ll be invited to donate £120 for a single will or £200 for a joint ‘mirror will’ to one of their partner charities. Booking is now open for 2025, but act fast because appointments go quickly!
