Argos: Big Toy Event
Argos has launched its annual Big Toy Event, offering up to 50% off selected top brands, including Lego, Fisher Price, Bluey, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and Paw Patrol.
You can save 30% off selected toys with the code TOYS30 and 50% off selected toys with the code TOYS50. There’s also up to a third off selected LEGO sets.
On some discounted items, you can get five times the Nectar points for the purchase, too.

Lego: free Batman set in Lego stores
On the 19 and 20 September, you can build a Lego Batman Bust at selected Lego stores then take it home, completely free.
The activity is intended for children aged 10+ and you can only get one per person.
Lego: free Harry Potter set (ended)
Fans of Hogwarts can get a free 42-piece Dumbledore’s Office with Harry Potter Lego set on 29 August at Smyths Toys Superstores from 9am.
The sets are available as long as stocks last and it’s strictly one per customer. Smyths says it’s suitable for children aged six and over.
Lego: free Pokemon build workshop (ended)
Children aged between 9 and 12 can join a workshop on 18 August 2026 to build and take home a Lego Pokéball.
Tickets go pretty fast for these events, so sign up quickly if you want to take part. Adults can’t take part without a child.
TGJones: free Beano Comic (ended)
Fans of Dennis the Menace and Gnasher can pick up a freebie at TGJones (formerly WHSmiths) until 23 July 2026. You’ll also get some vouchers for money off additional comics and the Beano joke book.
