Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Netflix: £10 off £100 gift card

It’s rare to see Netflix offers, so this is a decent deal at Amazon. You’ll add the full £100 to your Netflix account, but you can still pause your subscription as and when you want to. Here’s more.

Apple, One4All, Odeon & more: Up to 15% off gift cards

More Amazon Prime discounts on gift cards, including a £10 bonus when you spend £100 on Apple, and £5 extra when you buy a £50 One4All card. However, these are just for Amazon Prime members, though you might be able sign up for free 30-day trial Here’s more.

Echo Dot: 2 for 1

An early Prime Day offer that ends on Monday morning is two Echo Dots for the price of one – £42.98. More here.

Kindle: Kids edition deal stack

Also for Prime members is the ability to save 36% on a Kindle Paperwhite Kids edition, down to £89.99. This is the same as the adult version but you’ll get a free case and 2-year warranty. If you already have a Kindle you can get 20% off if you trade it in, and up to £15 as an Amazon gift voucher. More here.

Supermarkets: Free beer or smoothie

This week you can get a free bottle of Victoria Malaga beer from Tesco and a free Innocent Smoothie from Morrisons Cafes. Here’s more.

Days out: Free £25 voucher via Lotto

If you buy a Lotto ticket or scratch card you can claim a £25 voucher to spend on attractions like Legoland and Titanic Belfast. Here’s more.

Deliveroo: £5 off via Amazon Prime

Another early Prime Day deal just for Prime members is £5 off a takeaway via Deliveroo. You can also add on a year’s free Deliveroo Plus. Here’s more.

M&S: 20% off kids clothes if you recycle a school uniform

If you have a wearable school uniform that’s not going to fit your kids next term then you can “shwop” it for a discount on summer gear. Here’s more.

Water: Free refills

The hot weather is due back this weekend in parts of the country, meaning keeping hydrated is vital. Here’s how and where to get free refills when you’re out and about.

Magazines: 6 months for £6

Selected titles from Hearst magazines, including Good Housekeeping, Runner’s World and Men’s Health are on sale at roughly £1 per issue for six months. Here’s more.

Savings: 4.35% easy access and more

Since last month’s base rate hike there have been some big increases on savings accounts, including fixes above 6%, a 4.35% paying easy access account and a new 6% regular saver.
