Andy’s deals of the week 27 May 2023

My pick of the best offers and savings.

Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

The double Avios welcome offer from Barclaycard ends on 30 May. It could be a profit of £300 if converted to Nectar points, though you need to spend £3,000 in three months. Here’s more.

Newbies can get one week free, followed by a £2.99 charge for two months for the improved ITV streaming service, which includes Britbox. Here’s more.

Nationwide’s £100 member bonus: Will you get it?

Good news for some Nationwide customers – you might be getting a free £100 reward in June. However, you need to actually be using your current account and either a savings account or mortgage. Find out if you’re eligible.

Morrisons bring back More loyalty scheme

You can earn points once again at Morrisons – though not on all your spending. I’ve taken a look at how Morrisons More will work, and whether it’s worth changing your supermarket to take advantage.

There’s been lots of movement in the savings best buy tables in the last week, including at the top, where you can get 4.5% on a postal access account and 5.15% on a two year fix. Details on these and the other top rates here.
