Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Sky Sports: £26 for 12 months

If you still haven’t lined up a TV subscription to watch the Premier League when it kicks off on Friday you can currently get Sky Sports via NOW TV for £26 per month, a discount of 25% on its usual cost. Here’s more.

TNT Sports: Best ways to save

TNT Sports replaces BT Sport this season, and there are various ways to save, including £30 month passes, or discounted add ons for BT broadband and Virgin Media. The best offers are here.

Netflix: One month free via Sky Stream

If you haven’t had a free Sky trial before and don’t currently have Sky TV, you can get a one-month free trial of Sky Stream, including Netflix and Sky Entertainment. Here’s how to get it.

Waitrose: Free Caffe Nero coffee

Asda: Get £5 when you spend in August

Asda is offering selected accounts £5 in their cashpot when they spend 3 times in August. There’s no minimum spend, but you can nab another fiver if you spend a minimum of £25 4 times. Here’s more.
