My pick of the best offers and savings.
Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.
Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.
Some articles on the site contain affiliate links, which provide a small commission to help fund our work. However, they won’t affect the price you pay or our editorial independence. Read more here.

Chip: 2.9% easy-access
Chip increased the rate on its easy-access account, with a top-of-the-table 2.9% (though it can be beaten by limited access accounts).
However it’s not like other accounts as the money you make will be a reward rather than interest and it doesn’t compound (earn interest on the interest). The bonus also isn’t protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Here’s my full explanation.

A couple of new Amazon ones (for me) this week
Get £5 when you add a payment card (ad on the home page – not the scrolling banner at the top).
Get £5 for streaming a song on Amazon Free Music. On the scrolling banner at the top of the home page, ends 29/01/23. But disappeared after I activated the £5 for adding a payment card promotion. Maybe it will reappear once I’ve used that?
