Our pick of the best offers and savings.
Every week we spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. We’ll only share ones which we think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.
Some articles on the site contain affiliate links, which provide a small commission to help fund our work. However, they won’t affect the price you pay or our editorial independence. Read more here.

I’m interested in the First Direct switch, but I’ve never switched before. I currently have the Edge Student current account with Santander and I’m entering my 4th and last year of uni. I’m with them for the railcard (which I have physically) but not much else. Would there be any reason for me to stay with the student account/be unable to switch?
