Andy’s deals of the week 27 December 2021

My pick of the best offers and savings.

Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

Cinema: Free tickets and more

With the new Spider-man and Matrix movies out now, it’s worth seeing where you can save at the cinema. My ultimate list of deals includes:

  • Vue ticket and pizza for £5
  • 2 Odeon tickets and a £10 restaurant voucher for £10
  • Cineworld Unlimited for three months
  • 2-4-1 tickets all year for £1

Here’s more.

Pubs: Free pint of Guinness

The app Dusk is now nationwide and you can get a free drink at selected pubs, including a free pint of Guinness. More here.

The Big Issue: 4 editions for £11

With less footfall on the high street and in stations, it’s obviously harder for Big Issue vendors to sell issues right now. If you want to support, or need to buy someone a last-minute Christmas present, then you can pick up a short one-month subscription from £11. More here.
