Amex Platinum: Stack new offers to make £900 in six months

There’s a new welcome bonus on the premium American Express Platinum credit card, then when combined with some other offers that come with the card could see you better off by £880 – or more.

But it won’t be suitable for everyone as there’s a high spending threshold required. Here’s who can do it and how.

Santander: £160 bank switch offer

Another bank switch offer has returned, and like the other recent deals, it’s increased the bonus size. Plus if you combine the offer with ongoing cashback from the Santander 123 Lite account you could make more than £200 in year one. Find out who can get it and how.

Sky Sports: £25 a month for 12 months via NOW

Check your NOW accounts to see if you can get this discount on Sky Sports for the new year. There’s no contract so you can ditch it at anytime. Here’s more.

Caffe Nero: 25% off drinks and pastries

There are a couple of offers right now to get 25% off two drinks a day at Caffe Nero. Either get a Tastecard (which also has discounts at independent coffee shops) or a Meerkat Meals membership. Here’s more.

Al Rayan: 1.8% easy-access savings

The latest easy-access savings rate move is from Al Rayan. But with the base interest rate increased last Thursday more savings accounts are likely to go up in the next few weeks too. More here.

Iceland: £15 bonus

Iceland has launched an early Christmas Saver offer where you’ll get a £15 voucher in November if you add £100 by the end of this month. You’ll also get another £5 as part of the standard Bonus Card terms. Here’s more.

English Heritage: 25% off membership

A special deal is running in August offering a 25% discount on membership. There’s also an offer for 50% off day tickets. More here.
