My pick of the best offers and savings.
Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.
Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

This week’s deals
Netflix: £4.99 “basic with adverts” option launches
From this afternoon you can reduce your Netflix subscription to £4.99 a month. That catch is you’ll need to sit through some adverts. Another positive is this Basic with Adverts and the usual Basic tier are now upgraded to HD. More here.
Apple TV+: Six months free
A new Black Friday deal has launched at Currys where you can get six months of Apple TV+ streaming with any purchase, including things for a few quid like cables and light bulbs. However, you can’t get this if you’ve already had free months from Currys. More here.
Marks & Spencer: Xmas beauty advent
M&S have launched the popular beauty advent calendar for £40 when you spend £30 on clothes, home or beauty. The store claims it’s worth £300, though I’d check the contents list before buying to ensure you actually will use what’s there. And of course, only spend the initial £30 if there’s something you want. More here.
Chromecast: £10 off
Google only launched the HD version of its decent streaming stick in September, and Currys has a code that will mean it costs just £25. More here.
Vue: £3.99 tickets and possible £4 off
Ticket app Fever is offering tickets from £3.99 for a number of Vue cinemas. There’s also the possibility you can stack this with a £4 referral code. Here’s more.
Waitrose: 25% off wine
If you missed similar deals at other supermarkets then you can nab a decent discount if you buy six bottles or more from Waitrose. More here.
Savings: 3% Lifetime ISA and 5% kids saver
A couple of new hikes worth pointing out here are a 3% ISA from Virgin Money, a 3% paying Lifetime ISA from Moneybox and a 5% monthly kids saver from Halifax. More on all these and other best buys here.
