Andy’s deals of the week 31 December 2022

My pick of the best offers and savings.

Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

This week’s deals

Quidco: £3 bonus with no minimum spend

On Saturday 31 December only you can opt-in at Quidco for a £3 bonus valid at almost every retailer (check the Ts&Cs first). There’s no minimum spend. You’ll find the deal over on Quidco here. If you’ve not yet joined Quidco, then get a £17 new member bonus here.

YouGov: £50 cash for sharing bank data

Each time you link your current account or credit card to the survey site YouGov you’ll earn £5. You can cash only out when you reach £50, but you can add multiple accounts and earn another £5 every 90 days on the same accounts. More here.

Xmas food & gifts: Final reductions

Most supermarkets have put the final reductions on Christmas foods in the last few days so it’s worth a look if there’s one nearby, though stock will be limited – if there’s anything at all.

You”ll also be able to find larger discounts on Christmas cards, wrapping paper, decorations and other things you will probably use next year, so snap them up now for a fraction of the price.

Gusto & Hello Fresh: Deal stack for more than 95% off

If you’ve not used these recipe boxes before then a brand new subscription via a cashback site combined with a big discount could cost you as little as £2 for a big box of food. More here.

Amazon Prime: £2 off via O2

If you are with O2 for your mobile phone then you can now save £2 each month on a Prime subscription. More here.

Apple TV+: Five months free via Barclays

New Apple TV+ customers can get five months free via a Barclays current account. More here.

Aperol: Two cocktails for £5

Though you’re technically buying a Christmas card to get this offer, inside is a voucher that’ll get you two Aperol Spritz drinks in All Bar Ones in January and February. More here.
