Seeing as I often feature the deals available on the O2 Priority Moments app, it makes sense I tell you a little about it and how to get hold of it – even if you’re on a different network.
First you need a smart phone. If you are already on O2 go to your App Store and download it for free.
If you aren’t, you can still get it and the offers. Order a free O2 sim or pick one up from a pound shop for – you guessed it – £1.
You’ll also need to get your phone unlocked. This means to allow your phone to use other networks and can often be done for free. Ask your network what is possible. Some networks might not let you or charge you (EE, Orange and T-Mobile do this) if you are in contract. The Unlockapedia from Giffgaff is really useful.
Once unlocked, put the sim in your phone, activate it and download the app (remember to use wi-fi). After opening the app you’ll see a variety of offers.
There are plenty of freebies. Some are run of the mill, but others are great perks.
Between January and March 2014 I’ve got:
Free £10 voucher to spend on train travel
£10 off a £20 Body Shop spend
Free Valentines card from WH Smiths
Free Mother’s Day card from WH Smiths
Free choc from Hotel Chocolat
Half price Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Cream
Free moisturiser from Neal’s Yard
Free puzzle from WH Smiths
In the past there have been free Odeon tickets, pack of Xmas cards, free novels and more.
Keep an eye on my O2 Priority Moments deals page, or our twitter and Facebook accounts, where I’ll highlight the pick of what’s on offer.
