You can get two Vue cinema tickets or two Pizza Express mains for 1,000 Nectar points (i.e a fiver) with the Nectar Summer Rewards offer.
Ok, I take it back. I’ve slated Nectar in the past for being poor value and overly complicated to redeem. Well, it promised some changes and this Summer Rewards offer for Vue cinemas and Pizza Express is really good. It’s run for the last two years and it’s back for 2017.
How the Nectar Summer Rewards work
You need to go to a participating Sainsbury’s (this is more hassle than it’s worth in my experience) or go to the Nectar app. As long as you have 1,000 points you can exchange them for a voucher giving you either two Vue cinema tickets or two Pizza Express pizzas.
The best value is definitely the cinema tickets. It’s only for 2D films (though you can pay to upgrade at the cinema) and you must use both tickets at the same time.
You can start exchanging points from 19th July, and the deal ends on 8th August 2017. Once you have the voucher you need to use it by 30th September.
Both deals have terms and conditions, so make sure you read them first.

You should get two full tickets for the 500 points, though these are only for 2D films.

It should still be running until early August. To claim you need to download the Nectar app or go into a Sainsburys, so perhaps check in one of those?
