London Restaurant Festival

More than 50 restaurants are offering special set menus in June as part of London Restaurant Festival.

You can get a three-course lunch with champagne for around £30 at European restaurant 28-50 Marylebone, and £20 for a two-course menu at posh kebab shop, Le Bab, in Soho. Portuguese restaurant, Bar Douro is offering a weekday set menu for £16.50 per person.

Some restaurants are offering a free drink with your meal, such as 64 Old Compton street, which is giving customers a free glass of champagne when they dine and book through OpenTable.

The meals aren’t the cheapest, so it’s only going to be money-saving if you were planning to go there anyway.

Bills: bottomless pancakes for £5 (expired)

Eat as many pancakes as you want in 90 minutes between 3 June and 7 June. The deal runs all day, starting from 8am, and you can choose between two toppings – chocolate and ice cream or fresh fruit and syrup.

You can also add unlimited hot drinks from £4.25.

Bill’s Gluten free vegan blueberry pancakes aren’t included and you can’t use any additional deals or offers with this one.

Creams: free scoop (expired)

On Friday 17 May 2024 you can clam a free scoop of ice cream from any Creams in the UK. There are quite a few, and you can find all the branches here. Sadly there’s only one in Wales and non in Scotland or Northern Ireland.

It’s one per person, and expect this to be very popular.

National Burger Day (expired)

Thursday 24 August 2023 is “national burger day” and it’s worth checking to see if your fave restaurant is taking part with special burgers or discounts.

Some might be doing deals through the week and into the Bank Holiday weekend too

A few I’ve spotted so far:

American Express: Shop Small (expired)

Each year in December, you can get £5 back when you spend £15 on an Amex card at participating small businesses – including many restaurants. Here’s more on how it works.
