Andy’s deals of the week 29 May 2021

My pick of the best offers and savings.

Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

Champions League: Watch the final for free

You don’t need to pay to watch Saturday’s Man City vs Chelsea in this end of season clash as BT Sport is letting everyone watch for free. Here’s how.

Wine: 25% off at Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s

This popular promo is back at three supermarkets for the bank holiday. You need to buy six bottles or more to get the discount. You can stack the 25% off with other offers on bottles to save even more. Sadly not in Scotland.

Craft Beer: 15% off “green” bottle shop

A new surplus craft beer shop is selling discounted beer from the likes of Thornbridge and Salt to avoid it getting thrown away. I’ve blagged an extra 15% off discount on top just for you.

Airtime Rewards: £2 off £8 bonus

Until midnight Monday you can get £2 back when you spend £8 with cashback app Airtime Rewards at places such as Boots, Primark and White Company. Newbies can also get a welcome bonus. The money earned goes towards your mobile phone bill.

Britbox: Save 40%

I spotted a cashback offer on Natwest’s MyRewards page offering 40% back on a month of Britbox. Obviously, you need to have a current account with Natwest or RBS to get this.

Worth it for previous or current customers keen to see the well-reviewed original drama The Beast Must Die. Newbies can get a 7-day free trial.

Amazon: Bonus credit offers ending

A couple of Amazon offers end on Monday for some customers. They include £7 off a £25 spend if you upload photos to Amazon and £6 credit when you top up by £60. Find out if you’re eligible.

(BTW, I’m taking part in a year without Amazon to show you really can go ditch it and not lose money or be inconvenienced. If you want to follow my progress, I’m sharing weekly updates and tips on Instagram)

B&Q: Save £5 (twice)

If you’re planning on some DIY this weekend there are two possible ways to save £5 at B&Q – and you can use them together. The first is open to all by signing up to the free B&Q club. You’ll get a voucher for £5 off £30 spend.

The second is for Amex users, with a £5 off £40 spend offer available to add to your card (first come, first served).
