Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.
This week I’ve got two cashback bonuses that you might also be able to combine, a way to get 8% back from Tesco on anything, a big Waitrose sale and your last chance to get a £1 MOT.

Saturday 17th only you can get a £2 bonus when you spend £10 via TopCashback. You need to activate this offer via the TCB homepage. Not already signed up to the site? Get an extra £10 welcome bonus on top.
Airtime Rewards: £2 bonus
Use the code HIGHSTREET to get an extra £2 when spend £5 on a card you’ve connected to Airtime Rewards. Participating stores include Primark and Boots. Ends midnight Sunday 18th April. New to Airtime Rewards? You can get an bonus £1.50 when you sign up.
Tesco: 8% cashback on everything in-store
Connect your debit or credit card via TopCashback and you can get 8% back on one transaction each day at Tesco from now until the 25th April – though it could end early.
The offer excludes petrol but works for all other in-store purchases. This means you could potentially even use it on gift cards sold in store, eg Netflix, John Lewis or Amazon.

Waitrose: 50% off sale
People often turn their nose up at Waitrose, saying it’s too expensive. Though it can be true, you can also pick up loads of bargains, and the annual Spring Sale is always full of savings. There are loads of food, toiletries and household items half-price, and more with a third off. Well worth checking out.
MOT: “Free” with any Halfords purchase
Your last chance to nab a free MOT from Halford with any purchase, including a £1 bucket. Ends Monday. You don’t need to book the MOT until mid-May, and it doesn’t have to happen until the Autumn.
