Father’s Day Gifts

There’s a week left until Father’s Day. Here are seven ways to get better (or more) gifts for your budget.

1. Get A Free Card

You don’t have to have an O2 contract to get the Priority Moments App – anyone can get a free sim. Do this (here’s how) and you can get a free Father’s Day card from WH Smiths. Then put that money towards something else!

2. Splash Out On A Sonos

OK, probably too much for just one, but if you’ve a few siblings, you could club together to get 20% off a Sonos sound system. Links and the code can be found here.

3. Save On A Cool Print

Etsy has 1,000s of great prints (as well as many other things). Use our special link to get £5 off (minimum £10 spend). If he’s a football fan, we like these memorable goal graphics. There are plenty to choose from, whatever his team.

4. Buy Some Great Books, CDs and DVDs For Less

We compile the cheapest prices for new releases each Monday and often find that WOW HD among the best prices. Until midnight Sunday (8th June) they’ve 15% off all CDS and 10% off all blu-rays and games.

John Lewis, Game and other shops have discounts on iTunes cards. Details here.

Otherwise, if you’ve got a Fopp shop nearby you can get some really good titles for under a fiver. Pick and mix a selection!

5. Get A World Cup Shirt

We’ve found the cheapest places to get shirts from some of the world cup teams.

England’s is £32 with free delivery from Zalando.

From the same shop, Brazil’s is £28, the Netherland’s classic orange kit is £32 and Argentina’s £45.

6. A Nice Bottle Of Beer

Craft beer has become a big thing in the UK in the last few years. Worlds away from from your standard lagers and real ales, it could be a great treat for dad.

The code CAMRA-GBBF gets you 10% off at online shop Beerhawk. Deliver is free on orders over £50, or £6.99. Orders are within five working days so get in on Monday to guarantee it by the weekend.

There are also more and more specialist beer shops in the UK, so you could pop in to one of them. If you live in the North of England, Booths supermarket has a great range too.

7. Get Him A Membership

An annual membership can offer discounts on tickets, freebies and more. A great option if you’ve left it too late for delivery. Here are some of our faves:

Galleries & Museums: Get an Art Fund card for discounts to hundreds of places, or choose a specific venue he likes to go to.

Movies: Try Picturehouse, Curzon, BFI or Prince Charles Cinema.

Theatre: See what your local has to offer. The Young Vic in London has a great one with presale and discounts.

Outdoors: The National Trust or RHS are perfect if he likes to get out and about. Save 25% with code F14001

Rugby Supporters Clubs: Gets members priority access to Six Nations tickets. England / Wales / Scotland

With all of these it’s worth checking to see if you can get a discount using Tesco Clubcard points. Read our guide to the best ways to use them.
