REAL DEAL
I’ve a kindle, and I love it. It was great for going on holiday. But I still love a proper book, and if you’ve a Fopp nearby, they’ve some great deals.
The one in Covent Garden (you can see all the locations here) had both modern and ‘classic’ classics at £3 each or two for £5. Some really good choices include Stewart Lee’s How I Escaped My Certain Fate, Room” by Amanda Donahue and George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
They also had some bigger hardback novels and coffee table books reduced with any other purchase. This included Donna Tart’s Pulitzer Prize winning The Goldfinch for £3 (£7 Amazon) and the Manic Street Preacher’s Death Of A Polaroid for £2 (£24 Amazon).
If anything, it’s worth a browse.
