Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

RBS: Up to £150 bank switch offer

This new deal gives you £100 for switching, and a further £50 if you stay for a year and jump through a few spending hoops. It’s a big payer but it will take a while to get the cash. Here’s my analysis.

Santander: £130 bank switch offer

Or you could opt for Santander – already one of my top picks for its 123 Lite current account. You’ll get paid £130, and since this is the first proper switch offer from them I imagine many of you will be eligible. Here’s how it works.

Three: Lock-in free roaming

You might have seen that Three is ending roaming with your inclusive data, minutes and texts abroad. These rules begin in May 2022, but they’ll only apply if you get a new Three SIM deal or renew your existing contract with them after 1 October this year.

So this leaves newbies just a few weeks to get a super cheap SIM that will allow them to use their phone as normal in Europe and counties such as the USA, Chile and Australia.

My pick is a 12GB for £8 offer, which can be made even cheaper via a cashback site.

Deliveroo Plus: Free year via Prime

If you have Amazon Prime (or sign up), you can claim a year’s membership to Deliveroo’s unlimited delivery pass scheme. This will give you free delivery on orders over £25 and is normally £3.49 a month. Here’s how to get it, plus more details in my Deliveroo Plus review.

Money Dashboard: Free £4 Amazon voucher

With news that Yolt is closing down soon, it’s a good time to try a similar app from Money Dashboard as they’ve started a referral scheme. Sign up to get a £4 Amazon voucher.

iTunes: 10% off gift cards

Personally I only use iTunes and Apple gift cards for iCloud storage fees, but this 10% off deal is as good as you’ll get if you need the credit.

Waitrose: Up to 50% off sale

I’m a Waitrose fan and deals like this are great ways to stock up on essentials. It’s now your last chance to order online as the sale ends next Tuesday.
