Save money on Paramount’s streaming service.
The latest UK streaming service to launch is Paramount+, which will be home to big US shows and movies such as Star Trek, South Park and the Top Gun sequel.
Some articles on the site contain affiliate links, which provide a small commission to help fund our work. However, they won’t affect the price you pay or our editorial independence. Read more here.
How much does Paramount+ cost?
Paramount+ is £6.99 a month, with no long-term commitment required, meaning you can cancel any time you want.
Deals and offers
50% off annual subscription
Until Sunday 6 October, if you use the code LG2024 you can get 50% off a Standard Annual Paramount membership.
Once your first year ends, it’ll auto-renew at the regular annual price, which is currently £69.90 per year. There’s a 12-month minimum term and both new and some former subscribers can get it.
Sky TV: free with Sky Cinema subscription
Anyone who pays for Sky Cinema via Sky Glass or Sky Q (not via NOW TV) will get Paramount+ for free. Bearing in mind the cost of this vs getting those same movies from NOW, then it’s not really much of a saving – especially as you’ll likely be tied into a longer contract.
Personally, I’d only get each service as and when I wanted to watch something on them – that’ll work out much cheaper.
Annual pass: Save 15%
If you pay for a full year upfront it costs £69.90, which works out at £5.82 a month. Effectively you’re getting 12 months for the price of 10.

Free trials
7-day free trial
You’ll be able to get a week of Paramount+ for free when you first sign up for the year. You’ll have to enter your payment details, so if you don’t cancel before the trial ends you’ll be charged full price the for subsequent month.
7-day free trial via Amazon
Or if you have an Amazon Prime Video subscription (costing £5.99 a month) you can also sign up for a 7-day trial via your account. As with the other trial, it’s full price once the trial ends unless you cancel.
30-day free trial
There are often codes running that will give you 30 days free Paramount+. The keyword is usually linked to new shows, though we’ve not spotted one for a while.
Previous codes are listed below – so you could always try something similar when new content is released
This won’t work for returning customers, unfortunately.
Remember to cancel this if you don’t want it to continue.
Previous codes:
- CURSE
- INK
- STALLONE
- FATALATTRACTION
- RABBITHOLE
- MATCH
- PICARD
- 1923
- NACHOS
- STARTREKDAY
30-day free trial via Xbox (expired)
If you’re signed up to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you’ll be able to get a 30-day free trial of Paramount+.
The Xbox membership costs £12.99 a month, but you can try it for £1 for 14 days. Remember to cancel this if you don’t want it to continue.
I have just attempted to use the 50% deal code and have now been charged a full year. There was no option to enter a promo code on the site. I am not happy about this. Thanks for costing me £69.00.
The option to enter a code is on the payment page. You’ll need to contact Paramount to explain your mistake and see if they will refund you. As long as you’ve not used the service you should be able to
For Paramount+ 1/2 price subscription use code DEC2023UPG, instead of the code shown above which no longer works
The 50% off annual pass still works (I just used it successfully)
The 50% off code for the annual pass isn’t working for me.
Not worked for me either gutted
Hi,
“INK” no longer works 🙁
found “INK” for 30 days newb trial
When entering either SHORE or NACHOS in the ‘Have a promotional code?’ box a message comes back saying ‘This promotional code is not valid.’
There was another promotional code in use called ‘SOUTHPARK’, however it expired on the 27th of July.
So, I am guessing that the 30 day free trail has finished unless there are any new codes.
After doing a bit more research I have come across another promotional code called ‘STARTREKDAY’, which I can confirm is still active and gives you the 30 day free trial of Paramount+
Hi, the 30 day free trial link sends me to the Xbox Game Pass Perks page instead of the Paramount website… Can you post the correct lin please?
