Valentine’s is just around the corner, and though I’m not a fan, I’m sure lots of you will be thinking about what you can get your other half. If you’re thinking perfume, then CheapPerfumeExpert.com is an essential site to find deals online.
We used the site on a recent holiday to see how duty free prices compared. You’d expect prices to be less, but it showed that we could get it cheaper via a high street promotion. That won’t always be the case but you’ll certainly be able to cut the cost of smelling nice.
How it works
Cheap Perfume Expert a comparison site. Search for or select the scent you seek, and it’ll show you the price at different online retailers, which includes Boots and The Fragrance Store.
Of course sizes aren’t always the same and bigger isn’t necessarily better. Cheap Perfume Expert has a great little price per ml feature to help you compare sizes, and a price history graph so you know if you’re getting a bargain.
Missing retailers
Though there’s a great list of shops, some are missing. There are also plenty I’ve never heard of so make sure you do a little research online before giving your email and credit card details.
Before you buy
You can click through to buy, but I’d always recommend checking Quidco and Topcashback first to see if you can get cashback. It’s also worth checking other Clever Sites I’ve reviewed such as MySupermarket, Idealo and Camel Camel Camel to see if they find it cheaper.
Plus, you might be able to take advantage of voucher codes or in-store discounts to bring the price down further.
