Cineworld memberships
There are two memberships for Cineworld, though only one will get you access to as many films as you like. There are sometimes discounts on Unlimited which we’ll also share here.
Cineworld Unlimited Card from £9.99 a month
If you go frequently to a Cineworld, its Unlimited Card lets you go as much as you want (2D only). The minimum subscription is 3 months and starts at £10.99 a month, going up to £21.90.
- Group 1 cinemas – £10.99 a month
- Group 2 cinemas – £16.99 a month
- Group 3 cinemas (all except Leicester Square)- £19.40 a month
- Group 4 cinemas (all including Leicester Square)- £21.90 a month
You can see which cinemas are in which groups here. There’s no discount for paying for the full year upfront.
Members also get invited to preview screenings and 10% off food and drink. If you continue your subscription for a second year, the pass then includes 3D films and the food discount goes up to 25%. You’ll also get a free Tastecard membership.
There’s a referral scheme where you get an extra month for free if you get a mate to sign up.

Cineworld gift card discounts
There are a few ways that you can buy discounted Cineworld gift cards, including from Costco, if you’ve got a membership.
Tesco and Amazon often run promotions where you can get a Cineworld gift card at 15%-20% off, so these are worth checking out too.
The nice thing about buying discounted Cineworld gift cards is that you can still make the most out of other discounts, like Meerkat Movies.
You’ll need to remember to use the full gift card before it expires, otherwise you’ll just lose money. We’ll share any offers available here.
Get cashback on Cineworld gift cards
Another way to save money on Cineworld tickets is to use cashback sites to buy Cineworld gift cards. These include JamDoughnut, TopGiftCards, Cheddar or HyperJar. We have a section covering this in our discounted gift cards guide.
If you’re a new member of some of these sites, you can get up to £15 for signing up and making your first purchase, too.
Special rates and screenings
Cineworld charges different rates at each cinema and has a range of different prices for different screenings.
There are Senior, Student and Child prices at each cinema. These work out at about £1-£2 less than the regular price.
Cinesaver tickets: Monday to Wednesday
From Monday to Wednesday, you can get tickets for £5.99 at any cinema except London Leicester Square, Bedford, Glasgow Parkhead, Wakefield, Weymouth and Wood Green for any film. Some cinemas might have different Cinesaver prices, but they’re lower than the regular prices.
You have to pay a 95p booking fee when you book online. You can pay a little extra for 3D, ScreenX, IMAX, Superscreen and 4DX and special seating.
Plus, you can get 50% off a small popcorn and drink.
These prices should also be able to be combined on Tuesday or Wednesday with Meerkat Movies.
Movies for Juniors: tickets for £2.50
Cineworld has kids screenings every day of the week at 10am or 10:30am. Tickets cost £2.50. Kids and adults pay the same price but you have to take a child with you.
These aren’t usually the latest releases, though you can sometimes catch one at its final run, and remember that it is for kids, so don’t expect a silent cinema.
CineSeniors: tickets for £4.50
Cineworld also has Senior screenings every Wednesday for over 60s.
Tickets cost £4.50 per ticket and you also get complimentary hot drinks and biscuits.
