If you want to stay up late tonight, you can watch the Oscar ceremony for free even if you don’t have Sky.
If you’re keen to see if Leo finally get his hands on the Best Actor award, or simply want to see the fashion horrors, you’ll need Sky Movies. This can be pretty expensive, but there is a way to get the channel for free AND have access to tons of movies.
You do this by signing up to Sky’s NOW TV. It’s a bit like iPlayer and Netflix in that you stream the channels through the internet. The great thing about it is there’s no monthly contract.
I’ve listed the top deals below. Once signed up, you can watch the red carpet from 11.30pm (GMT) and then the ceremony 1.30am (GMT) tonight. There’s also Best Picture nominee Mad Max: Fury Road available to watch to get you in the mood.
Free 14 day NOW TV movies trial
If you haven’t already had a free trial of Sky’s Now TV Movies Package, this is your chance to get one.
The free trial lasts for 14 days and auto-renews at £9.99 a month if you don’t cancel.

Half price NOW TV Sky movies for three months
Alternatively, if you also haven’t previously set up a Now TV account, you can get three months half price. It’s normally £9.99 a month, so you’ll pay £15 rather than £30.
>> Watch the Oscars and get three months of movies half price
Remember to note when your one or two month’s ends so you can cancel, otherwise you’ll continue to be charged £9.99 a month.
Read my blog on NOW TV for more details on how it works.
