Andy’s deals of the week 2nd April 2021

My pick of the best offers and savings.
Andy Webb's deals of the week

Every week I spend hours looking at discounts and deals to pick the good from the bad. I’ll only share ones which I think are worth considering – but remember you’re only saving money if you’re buying something you need and can afford.

This week I’ve got two cashback bonuses that you might also be able to combine, a way to get 8% back from Tesco on anything, a big Waitrose sale and your last chance to get a £1 MOT.

Don’t forget to check out my Clever Cash Deals Instagram account. This is where I’ll share any flash offers that will have come and gone by the time this roundup is published.

This week’s deals

No video this week as it’s a Bank Holiday! But there are still some deals to check out.

Brewdog: Eight beers for £3.95

There’s an introductory offer for a new subscription beer club from Brewdog. You just need to pay postage and you’ll get eight beers delivered. it works out at just under 50p per can. More here.

Bike repairs:£50 vouchers are back

Government vouchers providing £50 to fix your bike are back – but they go quick! Here’s how to get one.

MOT: “Free” with any Halfords purchase

This promotion from Halfords is back. Buy anything in-store or online and you’ll get a voucher for a free MOT, which you can book as far away as November. I had a quick look at there’s a bucket for £1, and you might even find something cheaper.

Lego: Up to £40 off at John Lewis

Parents and collectors will know Lego isn’t cheap, so this could be a welcome way to save. There’s £15 off an £85 spend and £40 off a £200 spend. Get the codes here.

Easter choc sales

Just a reminder for any chocolate bargain hunters that Monday and Tuesday will see big discounts on Easter eggs in the supermarket. I usually pick up a few bargains with decent best before dates.

I’d also expect online retailers (and those where stores are closed due to Covid) to start reducing products as early as Friday. If any decent offers are still available next Thursday I’ll share them here.
