American Express: Boosted referral bonuses
Until 12th May you can get a little extra if you are referred by a friend to Amex credit cards.
The pick is the Preferred Rewards Gold Card where the bonus is an extra 12,000 points. This converts to £60 as a gift card, or if you switch them to Nectar points (via Avios) a massive £96.
And that’s on top of the 20,000 bonus when you spend £3,000 in three months. Convert those to Nectar too and you could be up £280!
