Free kids’ meals 2024

Find out where to save

The summer holidays can be expensive when you’re out and about and have kids to feed. So we’ve compiled the most comprehensive list out there, of free and cheap meals for kids, to help you save money this summer.

Some articles on the site contain affiliate links, which provide a small commission to help fund our work. However, they won’t affect the price you pay or our editorial independence. Read more here.

Do kids really eat free?

Free meals sound good, right? Well most kids eat free offers actually require you to purchase an adult meal in order to qualify. That could still be a decent saving, but it’s worth looking to see if other offers, such as 50% off the bill for the whole family, work out better value.

We’ve broken down this long list into free and cheap kids’ meals without the need for an additional adult spend, those that are free but require an adult spend and those with a small charge on top of the adult spend.

With these offers, make sure you check the small print. For example, a child could be under ten years old in one restaurant and under sixteen in another! Or some will give you one free kids’ meal per adult meal purchased whilst others offer two free kids’ meals.

We’ve included the age requirements and other key details below where the restaurant chain included it in their terms and conditions.

There are other cafes and restaurants that usually offer free kids’ meals in the school holidays including Marks & Spencer, Sainsburys, Frankie and Benny’s to name a few, but here is no news on their offers this summer holiday as of yet. We’ll update the list if and when any more restaurants announce their kids eat free or cheaply offers.
