99P FILMS

Blue Jasmine
The Machine
Red 2

The best of recent releases in this Monday’s Blinkbox 99p films is Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine which features an Oscar winning performance from Cate Blanchett. Welsh sci-fi flick The Machine and Red 2 might also be worth a look.

You can only rent them at this price on Monday, but you have 30 days to actually watch. Click through to the Blinkbox Movie Mondays page, select the film you want to watch (SD only) and enter the code MONDAYS119 at checkout to rent for that price.

For more on Blinkbox and how to get £6 credit for just £1 when you sign up – basically getting this film and more for free – see our Clever Site guide.

ON-DEMAND

Modern Family Monday 8.30pm, Sky One/NOW TV
Game Of Thrones, Monday 9pm, Sky Atlantic/NOW TV
Penny Dreadful, Tuesday 9pm, Sky Atlantic/NOW TV
24: Live Another Day, Wednesday 9pm, Sky One/NOW TV
Mad Men, Wednesday 10pm, Sky Atlantic/NOW TV

That you can watch all of these and other Sky shows for £4.99 a month without a Sky dish, with the first month free, means it’s our on-demand pick once more. First you need to sign up for a free 30 day trial for Sky’s NOW TV Entertainment package (it’s their iPlayer) and then sign up for a further month at just £4.99 (They’ve cancelled a planned price increase!). The selection, as well as access to previous series box sets, makes it the best value streaming services at the moment.

To watch you can either connect a laptop to your TV, watch on a tablet or computer, or buy a heavily subsidised NOW TV box for £9.99 (this also lets you watch iPlayer and 4OD on your TV). Make sure that your broadband contract has a decent data limit, as going over can cost. Click here to get your free trial. You can also buy a six month package for £34.99 including the box.
